Stopped by to eat there yesterday and it was more than I expected. Portion size are big and the food is is made fresh. We didn't wait long for our food and had plenty of leftovers to take home. If you are in the area it is a good small place for some yummy food.

It's kind of amazing that take-away Chinese restaurants vary so little across the U.S. This is no exception. It is the standard food you'd expect. It's ok. Not bad, not great. A good value, though--one dish was enough for two meals for me.
For New Bern, it's not a bad choice! -

I did not have a good experience here. I recently moved to the area so I've been trying to find my favorite Chinese restaurant.
The woman at the counter was rude when we picked up our food. We ordered 2 meals that each should have come with rice, but only received 1 pint. One order was sesame chicken with an extra side of sauce, but we were given sweet and sour sauce. I ended up using some of it anyway because the sauce on the chicken tasted like a mixture of sweet and sour and sesame. A majority of the chicken was a blackish-brown color and hard as rock, therefore could not be eaten. There was a bit of plastic in the container as well...probably from a wrapper or something. To top it off, there were no fortune cookies. Silly I know, but they're the best part!
I'd like to think it was an off night, but in our experience there were many more negatives than positives. -

This place is pretty good for a quick sit down or take out Chinese. Service is quick and friendly. The interior is clean and bright and seats about 28 people. Drinks are single serve(cans and bottles) and iced tea is served from a pitcher.
Tried the crab Rangoon and steam dumplings for appetizers and they were both quite good. The hot and sour soup was Hot but not really sour. The General Tsos and Kung Pao were both tasty and decent sized servings.
They have a 30 item $5.25 lunch menu that includes rice and egg roll served from 11-3 -

The best Chinese food in New Bern. Hot and Sour Soup is best we've had anywhere - not too hot but if you ask they will make it hotter. Food is good, large portions and very reasonable prices, though they do charge 25 cents for tap water. Wish they would go off the menu with a few creative specials. Definitely recommend if you are looking for good food and fast service with reasonable prices.
